Michael Nieckoski

Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by way of Putney Vermont, Michael has been involved in music and show business from the age of 10, taking both guitar and drum lessons through the years, and playing in many rock 'n roll, and other types of bands over the years.Michael worked in the theater on the technical side while in college, and played with a traveling children's theater group as their accompanist for 4 years.

His big claim to fame was when his group, The Bogart Elliott Band, backed up the 50's band The Coasters for 5 months on the road in 1978, covering 22 states and playing venues large and small. Most recently he's been found in the pit band for stage productions of the Branch River Theater and Small Pond Productions in Marlborough, New Hampshire. Being one of the producers of the Fuzzy Logic CD, "Almost," shows
another side of his production talents. He currently plays drums with the Brattleboro, Vermont-based band, Buddy Folly and the Experiments.

"Playing with Fuzzy Logic over the last several years has been a truly wonderful and creative experience – when playing all original music, there's no preset model that you have to conform to, you can make up the rules as you go along, and it's very freeing. I've been a full-time drummer in most of the groups that I've played with, sometimes playing a song or two on guitar; and flipping that to be a full-time guitarist (sometimes playing drums/percussion on a song or two!) has been a challenge for me musically, and I've needed stretch my own abilities. I'm at the stage where I'm still working towardsbeing comfortable in the new role."

Musical heros include drummers Nigel Olson, Carl Palmer, and Vinnie Colaiuta; guitarists include Keith Richards and Jeff Pevar.

Michael lives in Swanzey New Hampshire with his wife Elizabeth (one of the Lizzes in the band), 3 step-children, and three cats.
